He’s excellent with stories and the crowd, but doesn’t turn a musical event into a speech. He never forgets to dedicate Falling Slowly to Marketa Irglova. The sound quality of his band did not disappoint as it filled the century old theatre with ease. Last nights show was just so great in every aspect; Great venue, we were able to stand by the wall which allowed us a great view and a little room for dancing, and Glens performance did not disappoint!I was a little anxious since we brought someone to see him for the first time and didn’t know if she would be a fan but she found him to be as awesome as we do! Glen Hansard is ALWAYS amazing, and I forgot where I was partway through the show and couldn’t believe it when it was over.
